Daron Brown

Lead Pastor

Daron was born and raised in Clarksville, TN. He came to know Jesus at age 12 and answered God’s call to ministry at age 18. He received a Bachelor’s degree in Pastoral Ministry from Trevecca Nazarene University and a Masters of Divinity from Nazarene Theological Seminary. He has been the pastor of WCN since 2001. Daron and his wife Katie have three children: Kendall (2006), Parker (2008), and Macy (2010). His hobbies include playing baseball with his kids, reading, watching The Andy Griffith Show reruns, and SEC football.
 
 
 

Mary Forester

Executive Pastor

Mary is an ordained elder in the Church of the Nazarene. As Executive Pastor, she provides organizational oversight to the church with emphasis on NextGen ministries. Mary grew up in Humphreys County and accepted Christ at an early age and then drifted away from Jesus through her teen years. After several years of being separated from the Lord, her family found a church home at WCN. Mary taught Pre-K in the public schools for 10 years where she was connected to WCN through the school and church partnership. Shortly after she began attending WCN, God called her to full-time ministry. Mary joined the staff in 2016. She holds two Masters’ Degrees: Education and Pastoral Ministry. She is married to Nick Forester and is the mom to Kelsey (1998) and Hunter (2000) Elliott, Parker (2004), Ainsley (2010), and Caden (2015).
 
 
 

Janice Rudolph

Pastor of Local Missions & Pastoral Care

Janice grew up in Old Hickory, TN, until age 12 when the family moved to New Johnsonville. She grew up in church but didn’t come to truly know Jesus until 1998. After sensing a call on her life she began an intense time of learning and serving through volunteering in many areas of ministry. She is preparing to be an ordained elder through the MidSouth District School of Ministry. She has three daughters, seven grand-children, and 5 great grand-children. Janice enjoys spending time with family and friends and being in the moment. Janice loves pastoral care.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 

Annetta Sykes

Pastor of Jail and Recovery Ministries

Annetta was born and raised in Nashville, TN. She came to know the Lord as a young child and sensed a call to minister soon thereafter. She received a B.S. degree in Nursing, a B.A. in Biblical Studies, and a MA. in Religion. She served as missionary nurse, teacher, and preacher in Lesotho, Africa for most of the 80’s. Stateside, in the 1990’s, she served as women’s chaplain/director in the Los Angeles Mission followed by the Nashville Rescue Mission. She was ordained in 1997. She has taught at Trevecca Nazarene University, and currently supplies for pulpit vacancies and speaks at women’s events on the district. Her hobbies are devotional reading, inspirational music, nature discoveries, drama critiquing, hospitality hosting, and tea room fellowship with family and friends.
 
 
 

 

Kathryn McGuire 
Church Administrator

Kathryn was raised in the small college town of Carbondale, IL.  Kathryn grew up in church, but she was an adult before she really began growing in relationship with Christ.  Kathryn received a B.S. degree from Southern Illinois University.  She has been the Church Administrator since 2009.  She is married to Don McGuire.  They have 4 children: Marty (1981), Laura (1983), Nicholas (1990) and Mindy (1996) and 4 grandchildren.  Marty lives in Baltimore with his wife Amy. Laura lives in Rossville, GA with her husband Luke and their 4 kids: Julia, Jorja, Logan and Layla.  Nick received a B.A. in Religion.  He is working in Nashville and pursuing ministry opportunities there.  Mindy is a nursing major at Bethel University.  
 
 
 
 
 
 

Don McGuire

Treasurer

Don was born and raised in north Georgia. He has family roots in Humphreys County as his maternal grandparents were born and raised here. Don’s parents were faithful church-goers and he accepted Jesus into his life at a young age. Don studied engineering at Georgia Tech and spent 35 years working for DuPont/Chemours. Don drifted away from church during college and was a passive church member until the early 1990’s. Don and his wife Kathryn (WCN Church Administrator) happened to visit WCN with their son Nicholas Herring after he announced plans to become a Nazarene minister. They immediately fell in love with WCN and joined soon after. For the past 10 years, Don has been an active servant at WCN in various capacities, including; Sunday School Director, small group leader, board member, technology consultant, and church treasurer. Don enjoys reading, traveling, and spending time with family, especially with their four grandchildren.
